The Jarvis family moves into a cabin at Crystal Lake and a bunch of teens are partying next door when Jason wakes up in the morgue and wastes no time in killing everyone he comes across in gory and imaginative ways. Young Tommy is played by Corey Feldman and he is the hero of the film, his character returns in part six. This is full of nudity, silly gags and excellent gore, courtesy of Tom Savini. Pure unashamed slasher fun this was optimistically subtitled The Final Chapter but if the series teaches us anything it teaches us that you can't kill Jason Voorhees.
