John listens to that voice inside his head, the dissatisfied one that pours poison in your ear as you lie awake at night, the one that pokes the sore of unfulfilled ambition lurking within. He hates his life. His daughter is a parasite, his wife is a warden watching over him in his inescapable suburban prison. The voice has a way out but it won't be easy. This is an amazing short film, a true horror that sucks you in and then spits you out with shredded nerves. It's tough to say what's better, the writing and direction from Richard Powell or the incredible acting performance from Robert Nolan. Even the gory special effects are astoundingly good. If you really like horror that tries to get under your skin and unnerve you then you have to see this. Let's hope a full feature is on the horizon soon.
