This is a pretty straightforward repeat of the first Mirrors film which was a remake itself. Once again the central character is a night watchman and he works in a huge, modern department store where the mirrors are acting strangely. He keeps seeing a dead girl and has to work out the standard Asian ghost story explanation. The effects are pretty decent and the violence kicks off right from the start but you'll see everything that's coming long before it happens. There's a recurring theme with these movies where the ghost wreaks the most terrible revenge on a bit-part player rather than the main culprit, it's a tired and irritating part of the formula. This is basically Mirrors minus Kiefer Sutherland and since he was probably the best thing about the first film you shouldn't expect much from this straight to DVD release.
