There's something spooky afoot at an old children's hospital which is due to close. New nurse Amy, (Flockhart) arrives to find the remaining, small group of kids terrified of a mysterious mechanical girl who wanders the halls at night. As the rest of the staff bury their heads in the sand and avoid the second floor (which was closed years ago) the mysterious injuries and events pile up and Amy investigates. This is a classic ghost story which is short on surprises, but director Balaguero (REC) knows a thing or two about suspense and horror. In fact the direction is definitely the best thing about this movie. It's quite slow, there are lots of clichés and the characters behave in a typically stupid fashion, but it's also atmospheric and very watchable.
