This is an inventive Spanish twist on the zombie genre. A TV reporter and her cameraman are shadowing a fire crew and they answer a call about a distressed woman in an apartment block. Soon after arriving the woman in question viciously attacks the police and the building is sealed off with everyone stuck inside. Handheld camera shots are used to great effect to produce a number of jumpy scares and the whole film is like a dark and scary rollercoaster ride which zooms along at a terrific pace. They remade this in the US and called it Quarantine.

Gore - good make-up for the bites but there isn't much in the way of splatter here

Zombies - these are creepy fast zombies
