The Child's Play films about a plastic Good Guy doll possessed by the spirit of a serial killing psycho were never the best slashers on the market but this entry is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Eight years after part two Andy is enrolling at military school and when Chucky comes back to life he hunts him down. Once there Chucky decides to try and possess another young boy and wreaks random mayhem in the process before Andy inevitably stops him. This is a pretty dull outing for the wisecracking doll and the direction, effects and set piece murders are far from spectacular. It goes for the usual comedy tone but the script is less than witty and this is a very forgettable entry in the series.
Gore - this is lacklustre in the gore department
