This is a challenging micro budget mystery with a darkly surreal visual style and little else. The thin plot concerns a guy called Everard who has apparently committed a murder. He has to fight his way through a series of nightmare sequences to try and uncover the truth about his parents. It's very slow and it lacks a narrative hook or sympathetic character, preferring to drown you in wave after wave of surreal unpleasantness. Ultimately it is visually impressive but it tries too hard and doesn't have the impact it seems to be reaching for.
