This is a seriously demented sequel which is positively dripping with gore. The Sawyer clan from the first movie have now turned their cannibalistic urges into a chilli business in the true spirit of capitalism serving up human meat to the unsuspecting masses. A manic Dennis Hopper teams up with a local DJ and tracks them down, entering their underground lair with the intention of killing them all. This is deliberately over the top and played for laughs but it pulls no punches in the violence department and it is packed with gory action. It never achieves the level of tension in the original and it gets sillier as it progresses but it is still easily the best sequel in the series.
