This is another H. P. Lovecraft movie which lacks the budget to do the source material any justice. A horrible hillbilly family are trying to get the monster Yog-Sothoth to bang a human woman in hopes of opening a portal for the Old Ones to return to earth. Combs is the best actor in the film but sadly they cast him as a drooling redneck moron. He is supposed to be a ten year old who has aged rapidly and he competes with a bumbling professor played by Dean Stockwell with a revolting couple in tow to try and lay hands on the missing page from the Necronomicon. I like this kind of thing usually but this is super low budget with terrible acting, an awful script and some laugh out loud effects. It also struggles to make any sense.
Gore - nothing much going on here
Monster - typical Cthulu style tentacle monster which is cheap and cheesy looking
