This is a remake of the 80's slasher The House on Sorority Row. A bunch of sorority sisters play a prank that goes horribly wrong and then cover up the murder. Naturally someone knows what they did and starts tormenting and then violently murdering the eye candy one by one. This is a straight up slasher and it adheres to all the usual rules, obnoxious teens, set-piece murders, all done in a light and frothy style. It has no pretensions of being anything else and thanks to a cameo from Carrie Fisher and some nicely handled death sequences it's a mindlessly entertaining guilty pleasure.
