A couple of creepy twins have been making a mysterious movie project and their fellow high school students are dying in strange circumstances. The investigating detective suspects the twins are responsible, but he needs to work out how they are doing it. This is a decent thriller with some disturbing horror ideas. It's well directed and paced, the acting is a good standard and it builds the tension towards a satisfying climax as the inevitable girl comes between the twins. More psychological horror than gore, Seconds Apart relies on the ideas and some well-executed scenes to unnerve you without any really graphic violence. If horror teaches us anything, it's that there's always an evil twin.
