This is a low budget Australian film about a gang who call themselves Razor Eaters. They terrorise a mixture of people they decide are of no use to society, vowing to kill a drug dealer every day, blowing up an arms dealer and attacking a politician and a traffic warden amongst others. They favour anarchic violence and the police struggle to catch them. As their fame grows the public seem to get behind them. There are lots of elements at play here and the film has shades of Clockwork Orange and Fight Club although it was apparently inspired by a real life Melbourne gang. They film everything they do and so most of the film is seen through the lens of their cameraman as he shoots the video diary of their descent into madness. This is well made, written and acted for a low budget feature and although it is familiar territory it still manages to pack a punch.
