This is a supernatural Japanese horror in the mould of Ringu. The story focuses on a couple and their young daughter who become involved in a road accident when they stop at a phone booth. The twist is just seconds before the accident the man discovers an old looking newspaper article which tells of a truck crashing into a car at the roadside and then turns around just in time to see it happen. This is very stylishly filmed and there are some interesting ideas all focusing on premonitions about the future. As he investigates the "evil newspaper" phenomenon he is drawn into it and his life is turned upside down. This is quite slow but genuinely moving in places and extremely atmospheric.
