An American surfer in Spain stumbles upon an antique board game and doesn't find it suspicious when the wheelchair bound shop owner gives it to him for free. Later on he manages to attract a goth surfer girl who lives in a lighthouse (Dushku) and they rope in a few more friends to have a game. Turns out the game is like a really dark version of Jumanji and it was crafted by the Spanish Inquisition, never mind the fact the cards are written in English and all the figures look like little demons. Guess what happens when you lose the game? Cue the cast dying one by one in some comically ridiculous and convoluted ways with cringingly awful CGI. This entertained me in a daft, brainless horror movie way. I have no good reason to recommend it, but there are worse films on Netflix.
