A demonic mirror with the power to grant wishes (as long as they are evil) forms a partnership of sorts with a teenage girl. Emelin has just moved to a new town with her widowed mother and she struggles to fit in with the local crowd. The house they've bought is supposed to be haunted but in actual fact is it an old mirror that is causing all the mayhem. Emelin starts to use it and soon falls under the spell of the demon within which leads to lots of nasty deaths for the people around her. Packed with eighties fashions and the familiar high school backdrop this is actually a decent thriller thanks to good performances from the cast and an original story. The death scenes are a mixed bag but there are some good creepy ideas here and it's better than the poster would suggest.
