A bunch of friends are going on holiday when they crash the car near a corn field. One of them disappears, the others go to investigate and they discover a creepy abandoned house and some murderous scarecrows. They make typically stupid decisions and get murdered one by one as the ghostly revelations build towards an explanation of sorts. Watching this as a double bill with Chain Letter actually made it seem tense and scary. In actual fact Husk is pretty daft and the plot doesn't hold up to much scrutiny but it has a few cheap shocks and hey...scarecrows are creepy.
