House

A couple trying to cope with the death of their child get two flat tires in the middle of nowhere and head into a creepy looking house in search of a phone. They meet up with another young couple who have also had car trouble and then get trapped in the house with the demented occupants, a creepy old woman and her two hillbilly sons. As if things weren't looking bad enough a mysterious killer known as the Tin Man then turns up. This is fairly familiar supernatural stuff with an overdone premise and the interesting start goes downhill rapidly as soon as the Tin Man character arrives on the scene. There´s nothing much in the way of tension, scares or gore and the pretensions about a deeper meaning are easily lost amongst the muddled and clichéd action.
