The Gecko brothers are bank robbers on the run and they take a family hostage as they attempt to cross the border into Mexico. Crime thriller gives way to high octane gory horror as they hole up at a sleazy strip club which is a feeding ground for vampires. This is pure unashamed action packed entertainment featuring some fantastic characters, a great script, inspired direction and one of the best casts you're ever likely to see in a horror flick. This is the ultimate guilty pleasure, a blood soaked explosion of mayhem with really high production values. It brings a unique twist to the vampire genre and the acting of Tarantino is the only weak link in an otherwise flawless film.
Gore - the second half of the film is an absolute blood bath with limbs flying and exploding vamps aplenty
Vampires - normal looking until they vamp out and become fearsome demonic psychos, these vamps can also turn into bats
