This was a surprisingly fun low budget horror set in the overused subway. A group of religious nuts receive messages from their leader and without warning draw knives and begin to stab everyone around them. A few survivors manage to escape and team up and they spend the rest of the film trying to make a break for freedom. The god squad believe they are doing their victims a favour and keep wailing on about the demons that will arrive any second to claim their souls. This is violent and bloody with stabbings and batterings galore. The acting is higher than your usual low budget horror standard which is not to say it is great. The plot offers a nice new slant on the genre and there are a few comic touches and some nice nods to classic horror flicks.
