Workaholic publisher, Will (Daniel Craig), is quitting the big city for a dream house in New England along with his wife, Libby (Rachel Weisz), and their two girls. If an amazing house is cheap in a horror film it's always because a brutal murder took place there. Some strange events and a mysterious stalker help Will to uncover the truth about why his neighbor, Ann (Naomi Watts), is so spooked. Apparently Dream House was in development hell for months and so despite having a great cast and director it ended up being a bit muddled. It's ultimately a pretty tame and toothless mystery that won't thrill horror fans at all.
