Romero's take on the digital generation features a group of film students documenting a zombie outbreak and their journey through it. Handheld footage and fake news reports feature the zombie saga as it unfolds but this feels like a somewhat dated idea. The footage is too well shot to convince and the symbolism is perhaps over done. On the plus side there are lots of zombies and gory action, some nice gags, the effects are good and as usual the direction from Romero is excellent.
Gore - lots of impalings, gun shots and even a head eaten by acid
Zombies - these are old school zombies, slow and shambling just the way I like them
