A teenage brother and sister get run off the road on a moonlit night and attacked by a werewolf. They inevitably begin to change becoming hungry, hairy and horny. Freaked out they decide to search for the head werewolf and try to lift the curse. This is a completely forgettable werewolf movie which was drastically re-edited for a teen audience. No gore and plenty of bad camp humour is not a recipe for success. Despite writing from Kevin Williamson, direction from Craven and a decent cast that includes Christina Ricci this comes nowhere near meeting expectations. By all accounts the studio ruined it, insisting on a late rewrite and forcing Craven to recast. They then watered it down to get a PG-13 rating and brought in the CGI boys to do some shoddy effects work. Best not waste your time here.

Gore - they removed all the gore for a teen audience

Monster - the werewolf effects are terrible, poor CGI and a rubbish transformation
