The original Cabin Fever was pretty terrible so expectations were low for this sequel but as it turned out not low enough. This is a ridiculous gross out movie about a virus spreading through a small town. It focuses on the local high school where the prom is being held. There's no story just a selection of idiots getting infected, melting and puking everywhere and killing each other. The army moves in to exterminate and there's a local deputy trying to escape and a group of obnoxious high school teens. This is badly directed, poorly written, badly acted and desperate to disgust, which to be fair, it does manage to do. It feels weirdly dated as well, almost like an attempt to do a modern day Class of Nuke 'Em High. It's obviously meant to be funny but it misses the mark.
