A bunch of stupid, naive American college kids visit a Mexican border town looking for a good time. Unfortunately for them they cross paths with a weird drug cartel cult that engages in human sacrifice. One of them gets kidnapped and the other two try to save him, but even with the help of a local girl they are no match for the crazy dealers. This is brutally nasty with some explicit violence and lots of blood. It aims for a realistic feel but there are a few scenes which come off a bit silly. Sean Astin was the only actor I recognised and he plays a scummy yank in league with the Mexicans.
