The Boogeyman is stalking a girl but her friends think she is just disturbed until Sarah sees her getting murdered. It looks to everyone else like she hung herself so no-one believes Sarah either and the Goth looking boogeyman continues to sneak around picking off American teens in a college dorm building. As the supernatural slayings mount up no-one seems too bothered and Sarah has no luck convincing them that a nightmarish randomly materialising ghost man is actually responsible. This has some entertaining moments even if it is paint by numbers slasher nonsense (which it definitely is) there are a couple of typically daft and imaginative death sequences for the teens who take drugs or have sex and a combination of creepy movement ripped off from Ringu and a dream like quality ripped off from A Nightmare on Elm Street made this watchable. There is no originality here but considering it is the third instalment in a pretty sub standard slasher series it was better than expected.
Gore - fairly tame, there are a couple of nasty deaths but this is not a particularly graphic horror
