Deputy Sheriff Jane has just moved back to the small town of Blackstone after an absence of years. Unfortunately for her mutant wasps are on the loose and they're stinging people to death and then using their bodies as hosts, like wasp controlled zombies. Jane and her nosy daughter soon become embroiled in the crisis and she teams up with love interest and twin brother of her deceased husband, Devin. The writing is pretty awful and the characters are thin clichés. This is entertaining by made for TV standards and I liked Robert Englund as the mad scientist but I wouldn't go out of your way to see it.
